Agent-era field guides
About the map
What it is. A complete, current map of modern marketing: the traditional foundation plus the AI-era frontier (getting cited by AI answers, agent commerce, the human↔agent lens). Sixteen disciplines, each worked end-to-end with decision logic, runnable workflows, and dated sources. You don’t read it once and shelve it; you and your agent operate from it.
Who it’s for. The operator who has to both decide and execute — the solo marketer, the founder doing marketing, the small team's generalist — working alongside an AI assistant. You bring the context; the map brings the complete question list, the verified facts, and a recommended call for each decision.
How it’s used. Two ways, together: you read the plan; your agent gets the Agent Pack (the same map as machine-readable files) so its advice starts from verified, dated ground truth instead of whatever the model half-remembers. The free chapter shows exactly what you'd be buying —read it first.
How it’s made. Editorial discipline, applied relentlessly: every nontrivial claim sourced and dated, sources tiered, vendors treated as biased by default, disagreements recorded as ranges, corrections logged in the open, and the whole evidence base re-verified on a dated cadence. The receipts are public:how it’s verified.
Who makes it. The Modern Marketing Map is an independent publication. It sells nothing else — no tools, no ads, no agency services — so it has no vendor's thumb on the scale. That independence is the point: the map can call a vendor stat inflated because it doesn't need the vendor.
